Quality system update: implementing LEAN in laboratory processes

Over the past six months, the EPL Lab team worked on implementing LEAN management principles in daily laboratory processes. The results exceeded our expectations.

Time from material reception to processing start was reduced by 25%. The number of preanalytical errors decreased by 40%. IHC preparation time was reduced from 48 to 36 hours.

These improvements directly impact the speed of result delivery to our partners and, ultimately, the timeliness of patient treatment initiation.
